“Transient Emotions” is a visual story of the subtle passage of emotion through the language of the face and body.
The work documents Dre FIdalgo’s maturation of his work process and individual growth shown through intimate portraiture, capturing fleeting states of vulnerability, introspection, and becoming. It is a stripping back of performance and an authentic capturing of his subjects in a way unseen in his previous works. This collection of photos considers how images can preserve feelings that are otherwise transient, even of things behind the camera.
